Size guide

Every dog is unique (and dachshunds even more so 🌭). Measure your dog in 1 minute and choose their size with confidence.

How to measure your dog

  1. Back length: from the base of the neck (where the collar sits) to the base of the tail.
  2. Chest: around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
  3. Neck: around the neck where the collar usually sits, leaving room for two fingers.

Use a soft sewing tape measure with your dog standing. No tape? Use a piece of string and then measure it with a ruler.

Tips from Lolo & Lola 🐾

  • If your dog is between two sizes, choose the larger one.
  • Dachshunds have long backs and deep chests: go mainly by the chest and make sure the back isn't too short.
  • For very fluffy dogs, add 1–2 cm (0.5 in) to the chest.
